James Hosay composed the piece in the styles of Wagner and Mozart. The introduction is very broad and full. The melody is flowing while the background accompaniment is very rhythmic. Like most opera overtures, you will hear bits and pieces of different melodies throughout the work. All of these bits and pieces come together later for a glorious ending.
