Great Movie Marches
Movie music is some of the best made, nowadays, and movie marches in particular have a special appeal. Picture (pun intended) the score to the Indiana Jones movies, or the Star Trek movies, and you'll know what we mean. This is a fun medley to play, and will be a great tool for teaching a concert march style to your students.
Technical Notes: The 1st percussion part is marked for snare drum and bass drum. The 2nd percussion part is marked for crash cymbal, medium triangle, tambourine, suspended cymbal, and bell tree. The keyboard percussion part is labeled "mallet percussion". This part is marked for bells, xylophone, and vibes.
