Two Scottish Dances
Johnnie Vinson composed this two movement work for your beginning ensemble. Each movement is based on a Scottish dance. The first one is a 3/4 waltz-like song. The second is an upbeat and syncopated dance. You will want to work on the rhythm in the second movement. It is a perfect opportunity to introduce syncopation in music. Your students will surely enjoy this work. We include a demonstration CD that contains this work and several others. It will be a great tool for your students. They can even help plan your next concert! Composer(s): This piece was composed by Johnnie Vinson. Publisher: This piece was published by Hal Leonard Corporation. Series: This piece is part of the series "Hal Leonard MusicWorks Series".
