Pasticcio
Pasticcio means, quite literally, a musical work produced by borrowing bits of themes from various sources. In keeping with its definition, this composition offers the performers a wide variety of styles while, at the same time, limiting technical demands. Because of the variances in instrumentation among band ensembles, judicious care must be taken in matters of blend and balance. Estimated Performance Time: 3:30 Technical Notes: The percussion part is labeled "Percussion (snare drum, bass drum, crash cymbals, suspended cymbal)". Composer(s): This piece was composed by John Kinyon. Publisher: This piece was published by Alfred Publishing Company. Series: This piece is part of the series "Alfred's Young Symphonic Band Series".
