Virtruvian Man - Part 2
This gorgeous short work was composed as a ballad. It would be perfect for the slow part of any marching show. It will have your ensemble playing "outside the box" as far as dynamics and articulations go. Although it is a ballad, do not think it is an easy work. There are plenty of challenges from intonation issues to breathing issues that will have to be worked out. It is a beautiful melody with excellent phrasing and chording. It is sure to be a hit with your band this year! Technical Notes: The bass clarinet, baritone saxophone, B Flat horn/flugelhorn, and electric bass parts are optional.
