The members of your young jazz ensemble were not around when "Low Rider" hit #1 on "Billboard's" R&B charts in 1975, but that doesn't mean that they have never heard it. It has been recorded and performed by several groups since then, and now it is your band's turn to make it their own. Composed and first recorded by the group War, this new Paul Murtha arrangement features a trumpet, tenor sax and trombone trio on the melody, along with funky ensemble riffs throughout. This piece will be great fun for your players and their audience alike.
