The "William Byrd Suite" is based on some of his pieces taken from the Fitzwilliam Virginal Collection. Freely transcribed from the original, this band set is some of Gordon Jacob's best work, and will be a great piece to try with your band. Technical Notes: The extra timpani part was added by Frederick Fennell. The drum part includes snare drum, bass drum, and cymbals.
