Silly Scales
"Silly Scales" has been written to introduce beginning players to ensemble playing as early as possible. Thanks to the low grade of difficulty and limited range required of your performers, it is possible to be part of a real band after just a few lessons. Because of the four-part instrumentation, "Silly Scales" is suitable for small and large groups, taking into account that it is important to divide the parts evenly among the players. To support the ensemble, a piano (keyboard) may be used if desired. Technical Notes: The 1st percussion part is for snare drum. The 2nd percussion part is for tom toms.
