Henk Von Belcum, who is active in the choir world, chose for his "Partita Piccola" the German hymn "Wunderbarer Konig" as a starting point. We know the tune as "God Himself Is With Us". "Partita Piccola" consists of four variations and a choral setting, which is not used as the opening of the piece, but as an interlude between the last two variations. You can also use this setting in a church service, with one of the variations as a prelude. Estimated Performance Time: 8:00 Technical Notes: The percussion part is for snare drum and floor tom.
