This novelty piece is dedicated to those little devices that seem to ring at the most inappropriate times. Also included is a companion CD which features a demonstration track that you can play for your band. "Cell Phone Blues" will be fun for both the band and the audience. Technical Notes: The 1st percussion part is labeled "Percussion (triangle, cell phone effect)". The 2nd percussion part is for drum set. Notes to the Conductor: Get the audience involved! During the last 35 seconds of the piece, ask audience members to activate the ringers on their phone.
