William Byrd was a pupil of Thomas Tallis who was known for his choral music, both sacred and secular. Byrd composed "Pavana (The Earle Of Salisbury)" and "The Carman's Whistle". Johnnie Vinson skillfully arranged the two pieces for beginning band.
