Benny Goodman: The King Of Swing
Benny Goodman, the first celebrated band leader of the swing era, was dubbed "The King of Swing". He was an accomplished clarinetist whose distinctive playing gave an identity both to his big band and to the smaller units he led simultaneously. Our work features music that was performed by this great performer. There are four tunes that have been masterfully arranged by the great Paul Murtha. Your band will fall in love with this style. Technical Notes: The percussion 1 part is for drum set. The percussion 2 part is for suspended cymbal, mark tree, and tambourine. The mallet percussion part is for bells and vibes.
