"Trumpet Fiesta" begins with a series of dynamic passages in which the staccato by the soloists is prominent. The central section, in minor, contrasts with the beginning of the work. During this transitional passage, the trumpets only play two parts. Then the first theme quickly reappears before moving on to a peaceful and more melodic trio in which long and generous melody lines allow the soloists to let the beautiful sound of the trumpet fully reveal itself. The whole band leads this spectacular piece to a powerful finale. Technical Notes: The bass part is labeled "Bass/Double Bass".
