This piece,omposed by Philip Sparke, is actually three marches in one. It can be played as written, but was designed to bring players on stage one by one, as they join in. It begins with the percussion, and the melody is passed around to the different sections. Each section may enter the stage when they get to play the melody. There is a beautiful counter-melody that is also going on in the work. Once everyone has entered, you will hear sections of the three melodies that have been played and then, for the finish, everyone plays the melody of the march.
