This beautiful work comes to us from Philip Sparke, a world-renowned composer/arranger. The work features solo euphonium. It is based in a theme and variations form with an introduction, theme, and three variations. There are many wonderful cadenzas that will show the euphonium player's skills. The accompanying band part is very full and is scored very nicely. It is a work that will require a lot of effort, both on the soloist and on the band.
